The new Biomaster XT-B features the unique Shimano Baitrunner spool II which switches from free spool to pre-set drag effortlessly making it perfect for carp and specimen anglers.

The 8000 size is a good mid-sized compromise and the Cold Forged spool holds a huge amount on it making it a serious model for distance anglers, especially for anglers who "row out" baits.

3 shielded stainless steel bearings plus a roller bearing and an easy maintenance port for simple lubrication, deliver smooth assured performance when playing large fish or retrieving at speed.

Fitted with Aero Wrap II, 2 speed oscillation and AR-C spool, the casting performance is excellent, making the Biomaster XTB the perfect partner for medium test curve specimen rods. This new model also has automatic bail closure instead of the former manual version.
